Scope of Works

• Scaffold with edge protection erected to working elevations.
• Strip of existing tiles, battens and degraded bitumen felt underlay.
• Inspection of rafters and roof structure; timber condition assessed on exposure.
• Installation of breathable underlay (Cromar Vent3) with eaves protection and support trays.
• New treated softwood battens fixed to gauge.
• Re-tiling in concrete interlocking tiles; ridge and hip bedded and pointed.
• Chimney flashings renewed and dressed.
• Rainwater goods renewed; eaves and verge details completed.
• Waste segregated and removed; scaffold struck; site handed back clear.

Delivery in an Occupied Property

The resident remained in occupation for the full duration. Works were sequenced so that the roof was never left open overnight without weatherproof cover, and access, noise and dust were managed around the household. The property was returned watertight and clear at the end of each working day.
